Effective Date
- Packages on a shelf in the centers: These are held for 9 days. After that, any unclaimed packages will be returned to the sender.
- Packages in a locker: These are held for 2 days. If not picked up within that time, the package will be transferred to a shelf in the center(s) and kept for 7 more days. After that, the package will be returned to the sender.
- Perishable items: All perishable items will not be refrigerated, outside of the ice and or cooling method they are shipped with. Students will be notified that the package has perishable written on it and to pick up ASAP. After 3 days the perishable package(s) will be disposed of if it was not picked up. No holds or extensions for perishable packages.
- Medication: Medications are held until the student picks them up and they will be refrigerated as required and instructed on the outside of the package. For items that are not clearly marked as medication, they will be treated as a regular package and placed on a shelf for pickup.
- Bulk ordering: Due to space limitations in the package centers, students are required to notify staff through the ServiceNow portal in advance. This policy is for all orders (e.g. bulk tshirt orders, swag for events, etc.) with more than 20 packages/boxes at once.
- Other Deliveries: Flowers and food, (Door Dash, Uber Eats, Amazon Fresh, Groceries, etc) will not be processed or held in the package centers. Any such deliveries will be marked as "not accepted" and returned by the center employees. Students need to treat groceries and flowers like a Door Dash delivery and have them sent directly to the address of the recipient.
