Who We Are
MPS is responsible for the management, development, and creation of working towards a centralized mail & package program at Stanford University. MPS reports to the Associate Vice President for Academic Projects and Operations within LBRE, and currently includes a staff of professionals with backgrounds in Operations, Facilities Management, Communications, & Data Analysis with a combined 35+ years of service at Stanford University. These professionals serve as a Senior Director, Associate Director of Communications & Customer Service, Facilities Managers focused on the academic campus & students, and a Data Analyst who all work as a team involving multiple stakeholders on our campus to ensure a successful program that supports the University’s academic mission.
What We Do
- Creates a streamlined process for interdepartmental mail and mail code management across the university
- Analyzes mail and package volumes to increase efficiency and sustainability for student package centers and lockers
- Manages a seamless integration of software package solutions with a user-friendly mobile app and much more
- Actively works on improving the student and campus experience for mail and package delivery through communication and customer service
- Ensures the safety of campus, which remains our foremost priority at all times
- Upholds the core values of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
