Package Receiving Warehouse Opening Summer 2025!

The university will be opening a new central receiving warehouse to receive and process all student packages. This facility will include an advanced conveyor belt system and software technology to further streamline package handling. Carriers such as USPS, UPS, DHL, FedEx, Amazon, and others will be delivering student packages to this warehouse which is located in Newark, CA and will be managed by MPS. 

Some of the benefits include:

Cut delivery truck traffic, reduce emissions, and incorporate waste diversion to support Stanford’s sustainability goals

Centralize package handling with the goal of same-day campus delivery to campus

Increase safety of bikers and pedestrians
